City of Frisco
Frisco, Texas, just 20 minutes north of Dallas, is one of the fastest growing cities in America and is Texas' "rising star" for sports, shopping, art, and fine accommodations.
In February 1902, a town we now know as Frisco, was formed from the fertile black soil of west Collin County's beautiful rolling prairie land.
Demographics
As of January 1, 2010, the City of Frisco’s population was estimated at 108,201 with approximately 36% of its residents within Denton County and 64% within Collin County. The City is estimated to reach its build-out population of approximately 280,000 by the year 2025.
Females make up 52% and males 48% of the population and the median age is 33 years old with a median household income of $103,295. 67% of households are married couples with children and one-third of the population is younger than 18 years; five percent is older than 65 years. Frisco ISD had 34,000 students enrolled for the 2009/2010 school year.
